Garment orders are despatched using a signed for delivery service delivery, delivery timescale for main parts of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are typically 1 to 3 working days from dispatch confirmation. For Scottish Islands and Channel Islands delivery will take 2 to 5 working days approximately from dispatch confirmation. Majority of orders are processed within one working day.
Free delivery is available on new garment orders to most UK locations. New garment orders in the main will be sent using 1 to 3 day working day signed for delivery service from dispatch confirmation via e-mail. Guaranteed next day, timed deliveries and Saturday delivery services are also available. Free delivery is not available on leather care products and delivery timescales are typically 2 to 4 working days for UK mainland as liquid and aerosol items are subject to additional checks by the delivery companies. The warehouse is closed Saturday and Sunday, special courier deliveries need to be booked by 12pm.
Please ensure you provide a valid e-mail address and that you check your e-mail account for dispatch notifications with the courier tracking website link and your unique parcel tracking ID.
Please provide a delivery address where there will be someone to receive and sign for the parcel, you can enter in the delivery address section your work address, a relative's, friend's or neighbour's address. Where a delivery instruction is provided, please note that the packaging is typically a cardboard box or a courier bag and so it is not rain-proof, snow-proof, hail-storm-proof nor waterproof. If you request the item to be left in a safe place please note that this will be at your own risk and you need to ensure the location is safe from passers-by and the weather. Where the delivery is to a company address the person placing the order, and, or the card holder will accept full risk for the parcel once the delivery has been made by the courier to the site. Please note that in certain instances the courier may leave the parcel with a neighbour in your street, in such instances the parcel will be considered as delivered for all intents and purposes as the neighbour has a legal obligation to hand the parcel over to the addressee upon request, any instance where a neighbour should decline your request to hand over a parcel please notify us immediately as this will need to be reported as theft to your local Police Station and we will pursue all appropriate action to recover the parcel and ensure supply of your correct and full order to you. Deliveries are typically weekdays between 7.00am and 6pm. All delivery charges unless otherwise specified will be for parcel weights of up to 2kg. Delivery services are defined by the terms and conditions of each courier company service used.
Orders for remote UK mainland postcodes UK Isles and Northern Ireland may take a few days extra.
If you do not receive the item(s) ordered within 4 working days or an e-mail communication from us notifying you that the item is temporarily out of stock or now discontinued please contact us straight away, unless we have already been in contact with you to advise you of the estimated delivery date and, or status of your order. Any missing items or receipt of a damaged item must be reported within, and not any later than, 5 calendar days of delivery for UK Leather Jackets to investigate further with the couriers and warehouse CCTV dispatch monitoring system. UK Leather Jackets will not be able to take responsibility for items reported as missing or damaged after this time.
Next working day delivery is also available, add item to cart / shopping bag, the delivery options and rates are displayed directly beneath the cart /shopping bag items list. (The next working day services can take an extra 1 to 2 days to reach Northern Ireland and remote post code areas, this is due to the limitation of the delivery and courier companies.)
Non-receipt of goods following the e-mailed electronic dispatch notification must be notified to UK Leather Jackets in writing within 5 calendar days.
Please note that international delivery charges calculated on 1 kg and 2 kg parcel weights. Garment orders that are over the 2kg weight may incur an additional carriage weight charge which will need to be passed onto the customer, an e-mail notification will be sent. Delivery charges to the UK and EU countries are inclusive of UK value added tax. A delivery charge applies per delivery made.
Delivery services selected by the customer at the point of ordering that incur a charge are not refundable on returns and, or exchanges, or the return of goods for any reason as these are physical costs incurred from the delivery company and where these cannot be recovered by us we are not able to refund these. If a delivery failure should occur, the recovery of delivery charges as appropriate and deemed by the delivery company will be applied to the customer order in accordance with the delivery company provision of refund for the same. Since we have no means of affecting the timescale within which Customs in each country processes inbound parcels for clearance, please note that once a parcel has been shipped no manner of claim nor any manner of dispute can be submitted, for all intents and purposes the parcel cannot be claimed as not received whilst it is held at customs or being processed and , or in transit with the delivery agent or courier. Please be aware that you are agreeing to be bound by these terms when you place an order.
If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your online purchase then it may be returned within 22 days for a full refund or 60 days exchange on the item provided it is in its original condition, unused and with labels intact and item untampered. We will refund you by the same method that you paid us and we will allocate the refund back to the card you paid with, within 1-3 working days of confirmation of processing the returned goods intact and in a saleable condition.
For return items, please do NOT return these to our head office address as we do NOT have a warehouse / stock storage facility. The warehouse returns address for your garment will be detailed on your dispatch note, the returns address can be requested at any time via e-mail at info@ukleatherjackets. For return garments please first ensure the protective plastic sleeve is over the jacket before folding (as this protects from excessive creasing). Please take care to only fold the jacket once by bringing the bottom edge up to the chest / shoulder level. Coats may require two horizontal folds, again ensure plastic protective sleeve is over the garment before folding.
We recommend that any returns are sent by 'Signed for Delivery Service' with adequate value cover via the Post Office / Royal Mail or an equivalent signed for and tracked courier service as we cannot take any responsibility for items that do not reach us. Proof of postage is not sufficient.
Size exchanges for size 20 and 3XL and above will have an additional supplementary charge applicable which is displayed on the garment information page from which the order will have been placed, the size drop down picking list displays the additional supplementary charge for larger sizes as applicable.
Exchanges for the 'Finest' Toscana and 'Finest' Lambskin and Sheepskin ranges will have an exchange period of 30 days as we require customers to notify us as soon as possible if they require a different size or style, this is to enable us to manage stock levels since these garments are particularly expensive to produce.
In addition to our terms and conditions, garment orders that are Christmas presents can take advantage of an extended refund period up till the 11th January 2022, please note that we also offer a 60 day exchange policy (please see exchanges) . At the time of ordering please indicate on the checkout page within the 'Special Instructions' box that the item is an 'Xmas gift' , or reply to your e-mail order confirmation stating 'Xmas gift', or e-mail us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your order number or order name. The Post Office offers a next working day guaranteed delivery service so as long as you post back the garment unworn, with tags intact and in a saleable condition by the 11th January 2022, you will receive a refund. Items returned after the 11th January 2022 will be eligible for an exchange or credit voucher.
In accordance with the shipping notification e-mail, please follow the returns instructions and also e-mail us to let us know you are returning the garment ordered and whether you require an exchange or refund. You can e-mail us at any time to request a re-send of the returns instructions, please ensure you quote your full name and address as per your order if you don't have your order number. Returns from overseas, in particular from countries outside the EU, must be marked as 'CUSTOMS DECLARATION: Returning to UK Sender'. This is to ensure UK customs do not a apply charges to you or our warehouse for goods where duty has already been paid.
Once an order has been shipped an electronic dispatch note is issued to the customer's e-mail address provided on their order. The dispatch note contains the specific warehouse address for your garment return (this address will be the same as the sender address on your delivery bag).
Electronic dispatch notes can be re-issued at any time upon request or the address can be provided over the telephone.

All returns will be confirmed via e-mail and refunds and exchanges processed promptly within 1-2 working days.
- We recommend that any returns are sent by 'Signed for Delivery Service' and insured service via the Post Office / Royal Mail (e.g. Recorded Royal Mail) or equivalent signed for and tracked courier service as we cannot take any responsibility for items that do not reach us. Proof of postage is not sufficient.
- In the event of receipt of a faulty item please contact us within 4 calender days of receipt so that we may either arrange replacement of the item or a refund upon our receipt of the faulty item.
- Where you have not received a returns confirmation e-mail from UK Leather Jackets please ensure that you e-mail us within 7 days of your return being delivered to the returns address so that we can look into the matter urgently. Please ensure you state your name and address as per your order.
If you fail to carry out the above instructions the warehouse will not be able to allocate the return to your account and this may result in a refund not being allocated.

In the unusual event of an anomaly with your order such as damage, missing items or deficiencies please ensure that these are reported straight away and within 48 hours of the delivery of the goods via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org , in addition the garment tags must be intact on the garment and untampered with.
Where the customer and, or end user of the goods requests or confirms an instruction to change the item ordered to an alternative style the price difference will be applied either prior to, or post, dispatch of goods to the authorised payment card or to an alternative approved card if requested by the customer or the end user.
We are pleased to offer a degree of style modification and alteration on certain styles, any modifications and alterations must be agreed in advance together with the price.
We also offer made to measure and customisation options on a special order basis. Some jacket styles indicate where this option is available and the price. Please note that the price displayed is for up to a maximum increase of 20% approximately. In the event were an order is placed for a size increase that is significantly more than 20% we will notify you in advance of the additional cost and you will have the option to cancel your order before we confirm acceptance of your order. A refund will be issued in this instance.
Once orders are accepted and notified via e-mail to the customer's e-mail address for notifications, alterations and, or made to measure these cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Garment styles indicated as 'special order' are not available from main warehouse stock and will only be ordered in upon customer request (i.e. when a customer places an order). We regret that special order items cannot be refunded.
Deliveries that are refused at the point of delivery by the addressee and not re-arranged for delivery via the courier nor ourselves nor collected from the Post Office or local collection depot will be applied the delivery service fee of £9 minimum for a standard biker jacket and £12.99 for a sheepskin garment or the enhanced delivery service charge as selected at the point of order. The delivery service is a physical cost and is not refunded to us by the delivery company simply because the addressee rejects delivery, in addition the couriers apply a surcharge for the return of a parcel to the sender. Orders can be cancelled as per the 'Order Cancellation' policy however the customer is responsible for the returns charge.
These may be exchanged for goods of a higher price than the face value, the difference in the cost of the item being purchased and the voucher value would need to be made up via a credit or debit card at the checkout point. We accept, MasterCard, VISA and Maestro.
Gift vouchers ordered online will be issued by e-mail to the e-mail address provided on the order. Gift cards should be treated as cash. It will be the responsibility of the person to whom the gift voucher has been issued to safe-guard the voucher code. UK Leather Jackets will not accept liability for voucher codes that are not safe-guarded, lost or obtained and used to purchase goods by an unauthorised person. The gift voucher may be exchanged for goods and delivery services up to the face value or over the face value with the difference being settled in payment before dispatch of goods. Each gift voucher can only be used on a one time only basis. If any item purchased with a gift card is subsequently exchanged for an item of a lower price or refunded, any money owing will be added to a new gift voucher coded and issued electronically via e-mail. The goods received can then be exchanged or returned for a new gift voucher in accordance with the UK Leather Jackets returns and exchange policy. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash nor refunded back to the payment card.
UK Leather Jackets reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of gift cards at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the card, if, in its discretion, it deems such action necessary. This does not affect your legal rights.
Collections of garments made in person will be covered by a 22 day exchange policy and will not be refundable as these will have been purchased as seen.

Orders for current stock items can only be cancelled prior to dispatch, new stock and special order items can be cancelled prior to the production stage of the item whether this be the leather production or the factory making of the item.
Return of items are at the customer's own cost, the customer can opt to use any returns service of their choice, however we would always recommend a tracked and insured returns service as we are not able to take responsibility for any items that fail to reach us or that are damaged in transit.
UK Leather Jackets can provide a part subsidised returns label for an insured and tracked delivery service, the cost is determined by the weight and value of the item being returned and is detailed within the returns instructions that accompany the returns label. The customer will only be charged the prevailing rate detailed upon supply if the returns label is used.
